are some available at your destination. Check how much your bank

- In Central and South America, it is not very common to use credit
card
unless you where buying clothes,
electronics and other things of the
sort. Stores also tend to
charge an additional fee (it may range
from 8% - 10%) for paying with credit
card.
In
Europe, credit cards are more commonly used but at the more expensive places.
If you travel on a budget then the cheaper supermarkets
and restaurants do not accept credit cards.

- In cases of emergencies, you can send or receive money quickly
through Wester Union available in 200 different countries.
