The school has a central location in the business center and is close to museums and other cultural sites. The school is modern and comfortable facilities occupy an entire floor and feature 10 classrooms with TVs and DVD players, central heat & air-conditioning, and computers with free Internet and WiFi. Right under the school is an amazing cafe where you can taste Brazil's most world-famous coffee.

Large, very poor city with high crime rate
In summer months, homestays can be up to a 60 minute commute
If there are fewer than 4 students per group, class hours will be reduced. Participants seeking academic credit for program may need to purchase private classes to ensure required hours.

Mostly from the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. The age mix includes university students, professionals, and independent travelers. Also, English is taught to locals.
