From hot, dry, home of bullfigting and flamenco Andalucia, to fertile Cataluña, to the mainland Castilla to the mediterranean coast of Levante facing the laving on the Mediterranean sea. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination. Barcelona – Rambling La Rambla to see what odd is offered, exploring the Barrio Gotico and its magnificent churches, getting to know Picasso at one of his museums, and following the Modernisme trail of architecture with Gaudí ending at the Sagrada Familia. Figueras – At only 1.30h from Barcelona, the birthplace of the famous surrealist painter, Salvador Dali. Fans of this painter should not miss the Teatre-Museu Dali, a theater and museum. Madrid – A tour of the most important museums in the World, El Prado, The Thyssen and Reina Sofía, cañas & tapas in the old part, flea market El Rastro, and the spectacular view of Sierra de Madrid, Guadarrama, at Las Vistillas. Toledo, Segovia, Cuenca, Ávila – those are not to miss city excursions from Madrid. Salamaca – home of one of the oldest Universities in Spain and in Europe, this medieval city is still a busy students town. Valencia – Spain 3rd largest city, vibrant,clean, friendly and recently modernised with the spectacular Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias, home of the paella and large mediterranean sandy beaches. Alicante – tiny little city, with a pleasend waterfront stroll flanked by palm trees, with a castel overlooking the city. Granada – it is a must to visit the ancient arabic kashbah La Alhambr, to se a breathtaking flamenco perfomance from the gipsies at El Albaicín, and to have a "free" huge tapa when order a drink. Marbella – the Costa del Sol glosiest´s resort, it has always been a the playground of the internationl jet set. The warm weather all year round have made a superb site to be visited any time of the year. Sevilla – this city is the heart of Andulsia where everthing you think about it rolls together. It is one the most exciting cities in Spain, during both Semana Santa or Feria de Abril you will find the most stylish people. Cadiz, Jerez and the Pueblos Blancos – Cadiz is like La Habana (Cuba) but with a European style; Jerez de la Frontera is home of the best sherry ever introduced by the British centuries ago; and the little white villages are a recall of the arabic precend which lasted 8 centuries.
