From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals, roman ruins and arabic kashbas are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars.
It is easy to travel, the climate is generally benign, people is friendly, relaxed and fun-loving. And of course is the home contry of the second largest speaked language in the world: Spanish.

The more you travel through Spain, the more you get the differences between regions, you will realize how many Spains there are. From hot, dry, home of bullfigting and flamenco Andalucia, to fertile Cataluña, to the mainland Castilla to the mediterranean coast of Levante facing the laving on the Mediterranean sea.

Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.

Barcelona offers the best of both worlds: beach-side fun and all the cultural attractions of one of Europe's most admired cities. A hub for fashion, design, music, cuisine and the arts. It also provides a great opportunity for young people to discover the peculiarities of Catalonia and Catalan culture, gaining a unique understanding of Spain's regional differences.

Camp Program

Barcelona summer camp is located just outside of the city center in a privileged area of Barcelona. It boasts easy access to the city, thanks to its proximity to the metro (FGC) stop Mundet. The camp consists of a modern residence where students will both stay and attend their language classes. The camp facilities include a spacious garden/terrace, sports facilities, a dining hall and numerous common areas: game room, TV room, computer room, study room, etc.

Participants will stay in the residence dormitories, which consist of 3- and 4-person rooms, all of which have a private bathroom. All meals are provided in the school’s dining halls and/or cafeteria.

Supervision

There will be a camp counselor available for every group of 10 to 12 students. The counselor will remain with the group on a 24 hour a day basis and will take care of any individual needs each participant may have.
The students under 15yo or those whose parents didn´t sign the "Permission to go our without supervision" are not able to leave the camp premises unaccompanied.

Program Notes

• Sunday arrival and Saturday departure
• Camp Uniform: please provide size on application form. This is optional; nevertheless, it is recommend by the program staff and will help limit the amount of luggage. The uniform consists of six t-shirts, one sweatshirt, two pairs of shorts, and one cap.
• Optional activities are limited to one per every 2 weeks and are based on availability
• Day Camp: does not include transportation to and from camp.
• Day Camp bus: $265/2 weeks
