Learning a language is a long process; why not add some fun? There are tons of Language & Fun programs out there that can really add some flair to your studies. Language & Fun programs combine regular language classes with activities such as travel, surfing, golf, wine tasting, cooking, dance, art and much more!
Programs are offered in many languages, currently Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Korean, and Japanese. Most programs are open to any language level and all ages over 18 (not including programs that serve alcoholic beverages). There are even Golden Age programs for participants 50+.
Are you a foodie, oenophile, or beer buff? Then we have a program for you! You can learn Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, or French in these fun programs. Spanish & Cooking is offered in Salamanca, Spain or Guanajuato, Mexico. During these courses, participants learn how to prepare typical Spanish or Mexican dishes while learning Spanish. Of course, after class, you get to eat your new culinary creations with your classmates, and practice your new Spanish too! There are three different Italian and cooking classes: Italian & Cooking, Italian & Homestyle Cooking, and Italian & the Tastes of Sicily. Offered in Sorrento and Taormina-Sicily, you can choose the program that meets your ideal Italian cooking experience. Want to learn some Portuguese AND learn how to cook typical Brazilain dishes? Sign up for Portuguese & Bahian Cuisine, which takes place in Salvador, Brazil.
Move over food, and bring on the wine and beer! French & Wine is offered in Bordeaux, France. Learn French while tasting some of the finest wines in the world. If Spain is more your flavor, choose Spanish & Wine in Salamanca. With this course, you sample Spanish wines alongside two weeks of intensive Spanish lessons in a beautiful setting. German & Beer is a true treat for beer-lovers who also have an interest in learning the German language. Sample several styles of beer, brewery tours, and more are in store for participants of this fun program!
For those participants who are 50+, try our Golden Age programs. Offered in Chinese, French, Italian, and Spanish, these programs are great for those who would prefer to be in class with people of similar ages. Participants can expect language classes in the mornings and cultural activities and trips in the afternoons and weekends. A fun way to learn a language, get some culture, and see a new country for 50+ participants!
