Join in the fun, while taking a language program: December 23rd: Oaxaca, Mexico: Night of the Radishes. Carved radishes depict scenes of the Christmas celebration. January 7-February 24: Munich, Germany: Fasching. German version of carnival with lots of fish casseroles and doughnuts. March 1-9:Rome, Italy: Eurochocolate. Streets are filled with vendors selling NOTHING but chocolate. August 25: Bunyol, Spain: La Tomatina. Eating is not the focus, but join in and throw some 240,000 pounds of tomatoes at each other.
