Salamanca Budget-Friendly School: Meet the SchoolAmeriSpan has been participating, visiting, and evaluating language schools and volunteer organizations for nearly 20 years. In addition, we have sent more than 30,000 participants abroad. When evaluating schools, we look at many factors such as the teaching methodology, program make-up, facilities, teacher experience/education, lodging options and much more. However, in our experience the one thing we have learned that makes a school special is the people involved. We like schools where the owner is on-site and active in the day-to-day aspects of the school. Just as important is the staff. We look for staff that care and will make that extra effort to make things go smoothly for our participants. Finally, we look for schools where the owners, staff and teachers share in our own passion for cross-cultural education and immersion. Our partner Budget-friendly Spanish school in Salamanca is part of a study abroad organization which fits our model of a management and staff who share our passion. When we began working with this organization, it was a small school based in Cordoba, Argentina that specialized in inbound/outbound unpaid work abroad (intern & volunteer). Today, the organization has 4 schools in Argentina with schools in Chile, Costa Rica and Guatemala. AmeriSpan works with their programs in Argentina & Guatemala.
