Volunteer AbroadVolunteer Abroad"Volunteering" comes from the word "volition", which means that "it only requires will to do it". Helping out other people that are not in the same circumstances as us is only a matter of "wanting to". And, if you have the will to help your fellow humans, this is the kind of program for you! And, if you are interested in studying abroad, but also helping out with what you can, at Amerispan we can find the right field for you. Most of our volunteer programs take place in Latin America. But we also have a program in Jaipur, India. On both of them, the social differences are very big and a friendly hand, a smile, someone to talk to or helping the community is greatly appreciated. But Volunteer Abroad is a program that works both ways, for the volunteer is also being "helped". The volunteers will have the chance of experiencing a unique opportunity of living and working at the destination of their choice as one more of the locals, enjoying the cultural diversity at the same time as they improve their language skills. The distance between foreigners and locals is very short in these programs. Some of our Volunteer Abroad programs include a language course and other programs don't require it. The required language level is intermediate. |
